010 Things Acquired [text; action]
It's been a few months, but I'm back in Goldenrod. I'd say I'm glad to be back, but apparently the ground shaking had to go and happen again not long after I got off the train. I don't have much experience with earthquakes, but we've had a few in a row. That can't exactly be a good sign.
Anyone know what the hell is going on? Is this going to be happening all the time now? At least they're not causing any damage, though the crystal I grabbed back in May makes me think that this is some kind of omen of things to come.
In any event, there are a few of you I wouldn't mind speaking with now that I've returned. I think you all know who you are but I'll be in contact at some point regardless.
Let's hope we've seen the last of this crap until then, yeah?
Action for Goldenrod City
[After he fires off the message, Greed spends the rest of the day getting reacquainted with the city. He's never been the sort to stay put for very long, so making the decision to roost in Goldenrod is, well, a little unusual. But he supposes it's not so different than when he decided to return to Dublith.
The locals don't seem too bothered by the tremor, but maybe that's because Greed isn't going around asking each individual person what they think about the current strange occurrence. He spends some time pestering a few people about it just the same, though everyone is going just as clueless as him.
Late in the afternoon, Greed can be found with a horde of Pumpkaboo following behind him and jabbering like the world's most irritating birds.
Once in a while they'll break rank to all shout "BOO!" at once at an unsuspecting passerby.
.....he's so sorry.]

[He could just send a message asking where Greed or Lust are right now...but where's the fun in that? Instead, he just tells Lucky to sniff out his old trainer, and follows the Houndoom.]
[And Greed is easy to spot when they do find him, with all those Pumpkaboo. Lucky races forward first, barking and wagging his tail, while Envy saunters behind him with his hands in his pockets and a wide smirk on his face. It's good to see him again.]
I was wondering when you'd get back in town.

[It looked like a room in the Goldenrod breeding center; however, the Pokegar was being held by a frazzled Lucario instead of the usual blue dog with red eyes. In the background was a Noibat clamping a pillow over its head, while a Houndoom and Chespin seemed to be desperately trying to console an Espurr--the apparent source of the loud and constant alarm-like whine in the room.]
[And then there was Lancer, sleeping through the entire thing.]
[Casting a glance over his shoulder to see if the situation was improving (it wasn't), Lucario looked back to the Pokegear and carefully poked at the keyboard.]
WONT STOP MAKING NOISE.
WHY WONT IT STOP MAKING NOISE.
LANCER COMATOSE. PLEASE OFFER ADVICE.
[The constant 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' from the wide-eyd hadn't stopped. It didn't even look to be pausing for breath.]

[A tiny little Mismagius starts to swoop in-between the Pumpkaboo, doing her best to whisper quietly so Greed doesn't notice. Hush now, hush now! There's a trick to be played, let her through, let her through!]
[Because carefully trying to go through the throng as well after a moment without letting Greed notice is Red, lips quirked up in a playful smile.]

Action!
When the Pumpkaboo all shout at him as he's lost in thought Snake practically jumps of of his scaled skin. With a reflexive flick of his hand his two Sevipers, Ekans, and Dratini all get ready to attack, but even more alarmingly an Onix lets himself out of his pokèball also ready to strike.
Once Snake notices that it wasn't an attack he and his pokèmon relax. Snake speaks using a drawling kind of voice as his Ekans hisses.]
You really should be careful, we could have killed you, says John.
[He speaks normally when he says "says John", but he starts using a deep, gentle, but masculine voice he adds,] We're just glad we didn't actually hurt you for your joke, says Gaskell.
[Again, it is only his natural voice when crediting who is speaking. The Pumpkaboos will notice that Snake is really just translating for his pokèmon.]
