Pokemon are a little strange. They take some time getting used to.

[They usually do act like pets, don't they? It's kind of a strange species quirk across the board. Some are certainly more aggressive than others-- Greed still wouldn't swim with his Sharpedos, but on the whole, the critters are pretty... nonviolent.]
