It's been a few months, but I'm back in Goldenrod. I'd say I'm glad to be back, but apparently the ground shaking had to go and happen again not long after I got off the train. I don't have much experience with earthquakes, but we've had a few in a row. That can't exactly be a good sign.

Anyone know what the hell is going on? Is this going to be happening all the time now? At least they're not causing any damage, though the crystal I grabbed back in May makes me think that this is some kind of omen of things to come.

In any event, there are a few of you I wouldn't mind speaking with now that I've returned. I think you all know who you are but I'll be in contact at some point regardless.

Let's hope we've seen the last of this crap until then, yeah?

Action for Goldenrod City
[After he fires off the message, Greed spends the rest of the day getting reacquainted with the city. He's never been the sort to stay put for very long, so making the decision to roost in Goldenrod is, well, a little unusual. But he supposes it's not so different than when he decided to return to Dublith.

The locals don't seem too bothered by the tremor, but maybe that's because Greed isn't going around asking each individual person what they think about the current strange occurrence. He spends some time pestering a few people about it just the same, though everyone is going just as clueless as him.

Late in the afternoon, Greed can be found with a horde of Pumpkaboo following behind him and jabbering like the world's most irritating birds.

Once in a while they'll break rank to all shout "BOO!" at once at an unsuspecting passerby.

_{[Jack is making his way down the sidewalk at a brisk pace. So much to do! So much to do! His arms are full of shopping bags overstuffed with material, tools, food, and pokemon goods. He can't help but turn his head a little enviously as Greed and his little gaggle of gourds pass him by.]}

That's quite a patch you've got there!

[Greed stops, managing to suppress a laugh when all four Pumkaboo start to 'talk' excitedly at the compliment, rounding on Jack cheerfully, though thankfully none of them knock the bags out of Jack's hands.]

They're pretty cute, aren't they?

_{[Jack grows an enormous grin as the little Halloween Pokemon start chattering.]}

Perfect little terrors! You fellas wouldn't be interested in a job, would you?

_{[Why yes, he's talking to the Pokemon instead of Greed.]}

[Greed doesn't seem bothered by this in the least. Three of the Pumpkaboo all turn to the smallest one at once who goes quiet, obviously considering the offer for a long moment before letting out a very emphatic BOO!

That's probably a yes if his grin is any indication.]

Looks like you've got yourself some helpers.

[Good thing Greed sounds amused.]

Fantastic! But can you scream?

_{[He gives them a squint. Were they up to the challenge? He only has two floating pumpkins.]}

[The Pumpkaboos all turn to look at each other and begin to whisper amongst themselves before they all let out a long KAAA! all at once.

It's a pretty convincing scream.]

_{[Jack cringes--but not from any sort of fear. It had been a foolish thing to ask because as the little pumpkins finish their wail ringing sounds in his ears and he is momentarily returned to the strange muffled world he'd been stumbling through ever since Joker sent him those little noisy bats.]}

THAT WAS WONDERFUL. YOU'LL BE PERFECT.

[Through all of this, Greed looks really amused.

The Pumpkaboo all look ecstatic, so he figures there's no reason not to ask:]

You have a job for them? Maybe it'll keep them out of trouble.

_{[Jack blinks at Greed.]}

DO I HAVE A SNUBBLE? NO I'M AFRAID I DON'T.

[Blink.]

No, I-- ah, I meant if they had a job where they're supposed to scare people they won't get yelled at.

I DON'T HAVE A GOLBAT EITHER BUT I'M SURE THESE LITTLE ONES WILL FILL THAT ROLE JUST FINE!

Ha...?

[What even.]

I'm sure they'll have fun.

YOU'RE RIGHT! I MUST RUN AS WELL! SEE YOU SOON!

_{[He can't rightly wave because his arms are full but he gives Greed a broad grin before bustling on his merry way.]}

It's not like Greed knows Jack very well, but that seems a little odd.]
