[Hey, it's Greed. Looking far more serious than he did the last time he showed his face on the network. He has the 'Gear propped up so he can talk with his hands today.]

Alphonse Elric has vanished-- gone home, I assume, since I can't get in contact with him; the Gear says his number isn't registered.

If anyone ended up with his Pokemon, can you let me know? I don't want 'em or anything like that, I just want to make sure the guys have all ended up in good hands, you know?

....Just let me know. They're probably upset right about now.

I just arrived in Goldenrod not too long ago. You're still staying there, right? I can treat you to lunch, if you want. I know it won't make up for a friend being gone, but...

[It takes a little bit for her to find the place even with directions. For a long while, after all, she was in Cianwood and then just wandering through Johto. Soon enough, however, she's there with her Chatot perched happily on her shoulder. Even without her Gardevoir relaying information, the little bird is still more than helpful.]

[Greed shows up not long after, waving at Red as soon as he sees her.]

[Casually, Red swats at it playfully before looking back to Greed with a wave. Following it is a gesture to the diner- shall they?]

[He laughs faintly, but follows Red.]

you should stay here for a while. There's plenty of interesting things in Goldenrod.

[Finding a boot, Red settles down and clearly thinks it over. After a second, she makes a gesture to the Chatot.]

Place to stay? [It bobs its head.]

[He looks thoughtful.]

The hotels around here aren't that bad, I stayed in one for ages. But I suppose you could take up temporary residence in my house, if you'd like. There are a number of people staying there, so you'd have to use an air mattress, but they're fairly comfortable.

[Not having to spend anything on a hotel is a little appealing, but she hastily gets a pen out from her pocket to scrawl on a napkin.]

It wouldn't be a problem for everyone?

[He shakes his head.]

Nah, I doubt it. They'd be happy to have the company, I'm sure. And most of the Pokemon live outside of their Pokeballs in the house, so they'd love a new person to bug.

It won't be long. I've saved up, can maybe get somewhere myself.

Take all the time you need. It'd be rude of me to kick someone out if she doesn't have a place to stay right away.

[That's the Chatot, giving a birdy cackle, because talking Pokemon are in fact little shits. Red is more concerned with getting out her wallet and gesturing to the two of them plus the menu. She was planning on paying for the two of them anyway, and this just seems like all the more reason to.]

[He'll let her pay, of course.]

[In turn, she flips the menu around and taps her finger on what is possibly the largest burger they have in the entire diner.]

[Listen, sometimes you have needs when you end up doing a bunch of traveling.]

[Looks like they're decided then. It takes only a little gesturing to the waitress before the orders are taken, and Red sketches out another question.]

So how is the bar looking?

I've got a full stock of drinks and plenty of decorations.

[Like plastic Stantler heads.]

[Before Red can write anything else, the Chatot starts up again with a snobbish sort of male voice.]

How about some champagne now?

[A swat. She doesn't know where the bird learns these things.]

[Greed lets out a laugh.]

Bird's kind of a brat.

[Fondly, Red rolls her eyes. Doesn't she know it. Slowly, she writes out two letters in midair so Greed can see: T V ]
