It seems pretty polite to let someone know you're planning an attack, though.

[Normally Raikov wouldn't believe it but this place is full of brightly colored animals and things that shouldn't be alive but are apparently creatures as well. And considering people here are from all sorts of different worlds, not being human isn't too much of a surprise.]

[Raikov has Caterpie and a Spinarak by now too.]

[That earns a sidelong smirk. At the very least, it seems to have cheered him up a little.

At the question, he reaches into his pack for a pokeball, pressing the button and releasing out of it a Totodile who makes a lot of happy noises when it sees Greed.

He pats it on its head, smiling.]

Named him after a friend back home.

[Raikov notices the smile. Good. That's what he wanted to see.

It's cute... for a crocodile. Seems to like you a lot too.

[Of course the shark-toothed man would like the crocodile thing.]

Raised him from an egg. He hasn't seen much battling yet, though.

How sweet. I have a lower level Caterpie he could go against if you feel like training him a bit.

[Right now, Bido seems more interested in chewing on Greed's backpack than training.]

[He laughs cheerfully.]

Then we should definitely wait on a battle. It'd be a sad existence if he just got thrust into it shortly after being hatched.

[Raikov holds his hand out to Bido]

Probably. He needs a bit of time to get used to the world, doesn't he?

[Bido sniffs carefully, and true to his nature as a bitey crocodile thing, immediately makes a move to snap at Raikov's hand.

Fortunately, Greed still has at least some of his inhuman reflexes and manages to pull him away in time, so the Totodile instead snaps at air.]

[To which Katya chirps angrily at the baby pokemon. She might be cussing him out.

Raikov swallows and immediately retracts his hand, clutching it protectively]

T-that would be the first thing I'd teach him. Not to bite people.

Sorry. Should have warned you. Pokedex says his type are biters.

So I'll have to work on that, I guess.

[Good ol' Raikov, registering pokemon but not reading their entries. He decides to be a brat about it though.]

[Raikov's more than happy to return it and even playfully runs his fingers up Greed's chest]
