Shiptrap Night 3
[The execution has shaken him.
It was vulgar and disgusting. Desecrating the dead in such a way, and then doing... that to two people. These executions have begun to wear on him. At least Sephiroth was able to go out fighting, even if it did injure a person in the process.
This... this is just murder. It's no different than what the General is doing.
After the execution, he comes up with an idea. Someone he can trust-- like Murdock, who has made it obvious he's trustworthy because of the discussion earlier in the day, and tonight. He makes his presence known, doesn't really want to sneak up on a blind man.]
It's Greed. I was wondering if I could have some of your time.
[Before they both pass out, at any rate. He wants to make this quick, so he can find some sort of shelter.]

[And he'd been a big part of why it had happened.]
[Regardless, Matt doesn't let himself dwell on it. He's seeking shelter himself, ready for any visitors (friendly or otherwise - he knew the target he'd painted on his back), but inclines his head towards Greed when he speaks up.]
Yeah, sure. What's up?
[Tense as he is, at least Matt won't be punching a tree again tonight.]

[He leans up against a nearby tree, folding his arms across his chest, though Matt can't see it.]
About the identity of the General.

I'm all ears.

Tonight confirmed she's considered a player in this game; and besides that, Kurookano was so insistent on voting her out. She said something about how voting for the woman would break the game.
But she can overrule votes. I don't know if there's much we can do.

It's possible that target is Ivan, too. From the way they interacted.... [From what Matt heard, anyway] neither of them really seemed to care for the other.
no subject
That's true, too. But I do believe her when she said she didn't want to kill her brother.
There's probably something we're missing about all of this, some other unwritten rule.
[He glances around in the darkness, as though that will help him solve this problem.]
I guess all we can do is hope we get lucky twice.
no subject
But you could be right. Even if she isn't the General, Ivan knows more than she's letting on. She must have some part to play, especially since we know for sure that she's a player.
no subject
[Ivan being the General might too obvious, anyway. Only one role, right?]
We've got a ways to go, that's for sure.
All we've got is the need to keep pressing Ivan for more information.

We have a line of communication with one of the Foxes, as well. I'm willing to keep speaking for him, but if something happens to me.... [Then it's Greed and Fuuma, unless Orion told someone else.]
no subject
[It's not a very comforting thought, relying on a complete unknown who might have his or her own biases at work.]
I don't know how reliable Rei's information is, since it was a game she played, but it's another thing we have to keep in mind.
[He's silent for a long moment, but he obviously hasn't walked away or anything]
The group was willing to listen to you. Hopefully our luck will hold.
no subject
It might not be. But I have a feeling at least a few more hidden roles exist.
...I hope so, as well. We're really fighting blind here, no pun intended.
no subject
[He pauses, worried and a little awkward, now that the thought is in his head.]
If the Fox can look for roles, it's entirely possible one of the Foxhounds has the same ability.
I don't know what we'd do if something happened to Orion.

Do you know if he spoke to anyone else about his role?
