Alphonse Elric has vanished-- gone home, I assume, since I can't get in contact with him; the Gear says his number isn't registered.

If anyone ended up with his Pokemon, can you let me know? I don't want 'em or anything like that, I just want to make sure the guys have all ended up in good hands, you know?

....Just let me know. They're probably upset right about now.

[The squids will let you in as they usually do, and then probably want to squidtalk at you for awhile, but eventually they'll cut it out. Presumably because Naki's telepathically yelling in their heads.

He's got his hair properly combed and his bangs slicked back as well as his makeup on, but Naki's still in his hideous pajamas.]

[He gives a smile.]

Doing okay, I guess. I've lost a few friends here-- it's not uncommon, after a while, I guess.

Still sucks.

[He's just going to hug you in those ugly pajamas, Naki.]

[Good, because he doesn't want to let go.]

Yeah. Yeah, I know. But no matter how many times it happens, it still sucks. You're losing someone and... and even if they come back, they might not remember all the shit that happened here.

Yeah.

[He's not really sure what to say right now. He just rests his head on Naki's shoulder.]

[Naki reaches up and runs his hand through Greed's hair.]

...I'm sorry. I hope your friend comes back. Is there anything I can do for you?

...Yeah. I hope he comes back, too.

[He's still not letting go.]

...Just be around, for a while. I like being able to spend all of my free time with you.

[The tone is light, teasing, but he clearly means it.]

[He can't really promise that, but the idea of leaving terrifies him.]

[He knows Naki can't really promise it, but it still helps. He moves to run his hand through Naki's hair, looking content.]

[He nuzzles Greed affectionately.]

[It really is nice having Naki around here.]

[....he might have missed Naki while he was traveling, no big deal.]

[Look, he'll just happily hold onto Naki. No big deal. Even if Naki can't actually promise that, he'll happily hold onto the man!!]

Yeah. As long as we don't go too far, it's fine. I don't want to leave Mettaton here alone.

Ah, we wouldn't have to rely on the squids for anything. We'd just be hanging out in one of the parks in the city. Not bad at all, and it doesn't involve too much traveling.
