I spent years planning this out. It would have worked perfectly.

Why the hell would I stop you from going after the man? We'd gather up followers. I'd gather up followers and they would be our eyes and ears. A tall man with blond hair and yellow eyes would stand out. They would find him and then you would be able to do whatever the hell it is you want to him.

We would have grabbed the other's weakness, carried each other's burdens-- literally.

Hid them away somewhere safe, where she couldn't use them against us.

We'd only wait for enough time to pass before we had a group strong enough to take her out. And then we would have been free. Free to find alchemists to continue to make stones for us to stay alive. Long enough for you to track down the one who wronged you.

And then they'd both be dead and we'd have been free.
