004 Things Aquired - [action; FOURTH WALL]
[He's suddenly, horrifyingly aware that something is terribly wrong with his body.
What... what's going on? He breathes in through his nose, and he can tell immediately that he doesn't need to breathe in air by the way his chest doesn't quite give in a natural way.
Has he... has he gone back to being a Homunculus proper?
Dammit, he had been so close to being happy here. So close to finding humanity normal, and now he's back to square one.
Greed rushes to the peer, watching the ocean with a mix of forlornness and anger. And then he jumps off the edge, like anypsychology unstable normal person might do when they want to test something out.
He doesn't let himself sink far. He's aware almost immediately that he still doesn't need to breathe, even under the waves. There's only the stillness of the water and his own anxiety for maybe two minutes before instinct that he must have learned from newfound (newly lost?) humanity kicks in and he quickly resurfaces, climbing back onto the flooring, his legs dangling off the edge of the pier.
Greed doesn't try to test his Ultimate Shield. He's not sure he wants to.
Maybe he should get inside before someone notices him dripping wet (and the fact that his hair is far too perfect for someone who just jumped into the ocean) but he's too morbidly fascinated with his own lack of a heartbeat.]
((ooc: general catch-all fourth wall post. Feel free to set your thread after Greed stops being an idiot if you'd like.))

[Diving? Okay, usually, depends on the circumstances. Staying in the water? Okay. Staying under the water for more than a human often stays, making people think everything is not okay, when in fact you're fine? Never okay! At least not in the opinion of a doctors' daughter, who is a huge worrier.]

Not that they're ever that thought out.]
Ah... I didn't notice that there were people around.

She calms down very soon anyway, face going from furious to worried.]
Greed, are you okay?

He hadn't realized how badly he wanted humanity become coming here and having... whatever the hell is going on happen. It's unfair but he also doesn't want to talk about it because he doesn't know if anyone but Envy and Lust would understand, and even then he's not sure.]
This is just temporary, right? Things will go back to normal?
[Avoiding the question isn't suspicious or anything.]

Yeah, it is only going to last for a few days. You probably won't remember too many details - or anything - about any of this when you wake up on Monday. A-And then everything is like things usually are... here.
[She's not going to ask about details, but you can't avoid making a worrier worry.]

[Greed is quiet for a moment, but eventually he nods.]
Good.
...Thanks.

No problem, I've seen it happening a lot. It usually happens twice each year, the other time is around these days in November.
Suddenly everyone gets their powers back, non-humans [...ohhh, he is one too, ummm.] ... turn back to what they were - so you might see ponies and other weird things around. Not to mention the place gets crowded of people, who just appear somewhere and it's like they haven't even been here when the things is over.

Ah. That... actually explains a few things.
Since it's not permanent, I won't care next time.
[Sure, Greed.]
