006 Things Acquired - [video;]

[Oh, look. It's Greed on video. This is something of a rarity.

He's obviously outside and on one of the routes at the moment, looking annoyed more than anything else.]

You know, I thought I had this place reasonably figured out. Got a decent grasp on battling, don't really mind living out of a hotel room, and since it's summer, traveling between cities is actually not that bad.

That being said, what the hell is this?

[The camera shifts off of Greed and onto a bug-type that looks like a wheel.]

Cedric used to be a beetle. Why--

What the hell is he supposed to be? Can he even battle like this?!

How the hell does a beetle even change shape to begin with! It's the final stage of a metamorphosis so why the hell did he go and turn into that thing?

[And since he's facing the camera, he completely misses the Whirlipede rolling its eyes at him.]

[And about an hour and a half later...]

I'm back in town.

I hope you know how interesting I find all of this, Colonel.

[And sure enough, Archer arrives a few minutes later with his Alakazam behind him. He knocks on the door and waits.]

[Greed opens the door, looking vaguely amused by everything. For once, he actually doesn't have all of his Pokemon out, though that might be in part because Cedric is now a giant wheel.

Martel is out and sitting on the bed, though she is too busy acting like a cat to pay Archer and his Alakazam any mind.]

Hope you don't mind her staying out.

I don't mind, no.

[Alekhine follows Archer in and immediately moves to stand in the corner of the room, just watching everyone. He looks bored, but at least he's not attempting to do anything today.]

Of course I'm still interested. It's not every day one gets an opportunity like this and I'm not the kind of person to pass it up.

[It's pretty obvious that Archer's really interested in figuring out how to fuck with people using Pokemon, possibly hurt them, and that is both hilarious and absolutely fascinating.

This is a pretty calm and boring place on most days. The idea that there are people here willing to completely wreck that?
