[Oh, look. It's Greed on video. This is something of a rarity.

He's obviously outside and on one of the routes at the moment, looking annoyed more than anything else.]

You know, I thought I had this place reasonably figured out. Got a decent grasp on battling, don't really mind living out of a hotel room, and since it's summer, traveling between cities is actually not that bad.

That being said, what the hell is this?

[The camera shifts off of Greed and onto a bug-type that looks like a wheel.]

Cedric used to be a beetle. Why--

What the hell is he supposed to be? Can he even battle like this?!

How the hell does a beetle even change shape to begin with! It's the final stage of a metamorphosis so why the hell did he go and turn into that thing?

[And since he's facing the camera, he completely misses the Whirlipede rolling its eyes at him.]

[ It's not polite to stare...but it's also not in his nature to let such details slip by. He makes no comment on it though and carries on as if he hadn't noticed. ]

That's right; Roy has been really pushy lately for me to take him out to train. I think he's just one level away from his next stage. I don't know why he's in such a rush to evolve. I think he's good just the way he is right now!

But anyway, back to your Wheelbug. What does your Pokegear say about it?

If he was smarter, he probably would worry more.]

Maybe he's in a hurry to get stronger.

Oh... it says that they usually remain motionless to store energy, but that his species can spin around to attack. ...that'd probably really hurt, huh? He's pretty damn heavy. And it mentions that his spikes are poisonous.

That's certainly a plausible explanation. I'll have to have a talk with him first about power and responsibility.

[He whistles at that description.]

So he's really evolved into a more powerful form them. You probably don't have anything to worry about then.

[Though, to be fair, Greed wouldn't necessarily notice if one of his was just as impatient.]

You know, you're right. Pokemon seem to be pretty good at taking care of themselves as it is.

How have you been adjusting here, by the way? It took some getting used to for me.
