001 Thing Acquired - [video; actions]
Video
[When the feed clicks on, it's shaking slightly, and a man with strange eyes is staring at it from under his sunglasses like he's half-expecting it to explode.]
So this thing is visible to anyone who is connected, huh?
[Someone says something just off camera and he smirks.]
In that case, I just have one question.
Are there any bars in New Bark Town?
[Priorities.]
Action- New Bark Town
[And get an immediate answer or not, Geed is going to wander the town with the strange cat thing following close by. This feels much closer to the freedom he had been searching for in the first place, even if there is a nagging sensation in the back of his mind that something is extremely off.
Really, he can't be worried. He's escaped the bitch as far as he's concerned so he's going to be stopping every single person he runs into to ask about the town hoping he can learn something useful because he sure as hell can't blend in. He might as well stick out in the most obnoxious way possible.
At least it'll get him noticed.]

[What's a movie?
At least he knows what a phone is. Phones are extremely useful things]
Anyone "new." You mean there's already a few of us here?
[Now that's interesting. So there's at least the three, then. Maybe more.]
The name's Greed.
[Said like this is the most reasonable name for a person ever.]
[video] 1 / a few, idk
It's like -- if you record a video with this, then people can watch it like it's a movie. Moving pictures, usually with some actors and actresses playing some fictional roles. And weird events like there's one in alchemy where an alchemist accidentally turns himself into a flying man -- or a fly, I don't remember the details.
[... uh huh, yes she did mention that 'new' word.]
Well, yes. You're probably going to meet them all sooner or later. Not that there's so many left anymore.
[video] 2 / 4 maybe
GREED?
Yes, Winry knows that name. She met one Greed a little before she woke up here (again).]
3 / 4
No, shouldn't the real question be why Ling looked different that time?
... No, the real question is...]
...What happened to Ling, if you're here and not -- him?
[Why is everything from Amestris always so confusing?
Winry, honey, you have no idea]4 / 4
Oooops, maybe she should have thought of that before she asked that thing about Ling.]
Umm, my name is Winry Rockbell.
[ WHAT ELSE IS SHE SUPPOSED TO SAY?! 'Never mind the Ling part.' 'Nice to meet you!' Is it?? 'We've kind of met' well what if they haven't?]
no subject
Just... what?
That look makes it clear she knows who he is by name. Which doesn't make any sense at all because he doesn't hang around teenagers.
And Ling... well, that name means absolutely nothing to him. Greed doesn't remember his name as a human, but he doesn't think it was "Ling."
And that's not right, anyway, because he knows Rush Valley wasn't around when he had been younger.]
I'll be honest, kid, I have no idea what you're talking about.
[The name Rockbell certainly doesn't mean anything to him, either. Oh, well. This is what he gets for being locked in a cell for 130 years.]
You know the names of the others here, Winry?
no subject
It's cool, it happens around here a lot since time works weirdly here. [and other things too, in the case of Amestris at least!]
[But since this is Greed? Well, Ed hangs around with the Greed, who is in Ling's body, so ... that's a bit reassuring, maybe. Look, last time she met one of you, it was Envy telling her a fake name and being friendly and helpful when she first woke up here. Ed was furious about it.]
And it's Winry, not kid. The others are Solf J. Kimblee, Frank Archer and Envy.
no subject
He must have misheard her about the first name, but...]
Did you say Kimbley?
[Because it's not like he can pick up on spelling differences when talking!]
no subject
Also what is noticing the spelling difference? Not something to do here, at least not right now.]
Yeah, I said Kimblee. ...You know him?
[She's ...not sure if she wants to know his answer to that question.]
no subject
[And that is poorly concealed murderous rage if there ever was.]
no subject
Not that she cares whatever happens to Kimblee, but oh, this one might be one of those murderous people too then. Guess that isn't surprising at all, considering how much she knows about the plans of Homunculi and military, but...]
I take it you're not friends, then.
no subject
[They had been, from Greed's perspective. Until he'd been sold out to the military.]
no subject
no subject
[That's a bit too personal of a thing to reveal.
Kimbley is the reason they're all dead.]
no subject
... Sorry...
no subject
Don't worry about it. It's my problem.
no subject
Problem? Still talking about Kimblee?]</small You probably should know that you or anyone else can't kill anyone in this place, and that all dead people can come here even after their death.
no subject
That wasn't really what I was talking about.
Violent revenge isn't really my style.
[That and Kimbley is a dumbass who will probably get himself killed without Greed's protection.]
wow hi html errors |:
Then take it as a heads up if someone ever happens to threat you about it.
[Or something. What is logic in this place?]
damn it html :|
[Pokemon battles sound so boring, though.]
no subject
Yeah, there are these pretty police ladies, who have zero tolerance for violence. I've heard people got into jail after a barfight or something... So they won't just frown upon the fight, you might want to run away if they see you having a serious fight with someone. And I definitely have to avoid throwing a wrench at a stupid alchemist whenever they can see.
no subject
That so? Can't say I've run into many stupid alchemists.
[Except Kimbley.]
no subject
Well... he's not... exactly stupid, I mean he's very smart but he doesn't need to hear that too often, for now. [genius, actually, but let's leave that part out.] ...but I just call him stupid, because he is a dummy sometimes.
[Never underestimate the complicated mind of a girl in love!]
no subject
I take it he gets in trouble often. Or puts himself in danger. Or both.
[If there's one thing Greed understands, it's relationships with people. It's a much better topic than picking fights.]
I'm sure he means well.
no subject
Both, and he also breaks things often. ...But I guess Ed means well.
[There. Let's test if you know that short name and let's also ignore the little red on her cheeks.]
