[Oh, look. It's Greed on video. This is something of a rarity.

He's obviously outside and on one of the routes at the moment, looking annoyed more than anything else.]

You know, I thought I had this place reasonably figured out. Got a decent grasp on battling, don't really mind living out of a hotel room, and since it's summer, traveling between cities is actually not that bad.

That being said, what the hell is this?

[The camera shifts off of Greed and onto a bug-type that looks like a wheel.]

Cedric used to be a beetle. Why--

What the hell is he supposed to be? Can he even battle like this?!

How the hell does a beetle even change shape to begin with! It's the final stage of a metamorphosis so why the hell did he go and turn into that thing?

[And since he's facing the camera, he completely misses the Whirlipede rolling its eyes at him.]

[Greed thinks he's very attractive, thank you very much.]

[But onto that question, no way is he going to say anything in public.]

Ha! I haven't scared anyone yet. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that other people think the same.

[Yep. Still arrogant.]

[He glances behind him at the bug.]

I think he'd try to sting me if he was mad. Pokedex says his species is aggressive.

Hah, you just keep telling yourself that.

[He's mostly just teasing to be an ass. He's not attracted to Greed himself, but he's aware that objectively he's not bad looking. But he's still not quite sure how to navigate this...whatever they are right now. Teasing and mockery is always a safe bet.]

Then if he's fine, I don't see what the big deal is.

...I wouldn't always listen to the Pokedex though. Half the time it's full of shit on what they act like.

[He doesn't mind the teasing. If he did, the mocking would probably get more angry so the fact that Greed is mocking back is... something, at least.]

Whoever writes it should write more accurate descriptions, then.

I don't even know who writes the thing. Maybe you should find out and send them a complaint.

[He's clearly not serious about that.]

What all do you even have, aside from your wheelbug?

The locals are bad enough already. I bet the guy who wrote those has spent years alone.

Ah, let's see. I've got a Meowth, --that's Martel. She's my starter. A Ponyta, a Geodude. There's Bido, he's a Totodile. There's also Agna, she's a Hoothoot.

And there's a Porygon and a Ditto-- jut caught that one earlier today.

[Envy just nods along until that last one. Then he can't help but grimace like a small child who's been told to eat brussels sprouts.]
