[This is Envy they're talking about. Greed's watched him happily slaughter entire families. He's watched him transform his arm into something sharp enough to impale a person before and then laugh when he's done it.]
There's a reason for that. I know the reason because at one point, Envy and I were extremely close.
But it's also not really my place to go around telling other people. Maybe it's a little different, since you were so close to him, too, but if he never let on that complicates things a bit.
I know Hohenheim was around from time to time. I only ever saw him once and I got the feeling he didn't like me very much, and he completely avoided Envy the one time he did show up that I'm aware of because I was in the room for the entire conversation.
This must have been... I'm not sure. I think it was two hundred years ago but honestly it could have been before that. Spending over a century locked away wrecks your perception of time.
He urged her to stop what she was doing and she refused. It's been too long so I don't really remember the specifics, but I remember wanting to hurt him. I would have done it in an instant had she ordered it.
She told him he should accept responsibility and he told her he didn't know what she was talking about. And then he looked at me, and I still don't understand the look he gave me. Pity? Hatred? Hell if I know.
I hated being the thing on the side. He was clearly the one she wanted, not me. I was just a convenience to her. Just something to pass the time with while she longed for that man once again.
I never told Envy that he showed up. It would only have angered him to know that I had the chance to attack the man but didn't because I was a loyal servant of our master.
I'm not sure what doing that actually meant to him.
I don't really want to guess, honestly. He's wanted to kill Hohenheim for a long time and to be honest I have too so I never saw reason to dissuade him.

Do you know anything about France?
May 16th
Name doesn't ring a bell. I don't think it's anyone I've met.
May 16th
He's Envy's [Lust pauses, searching for the right word.] young man.
May 16th
Are you serious?
May 16th
He's also rich.
[This is why she messages him. Only Greed can understand why this is so strange.]
May 16th
[Okay hold up here. Envy is dating somebody. Envy. He's not sure how to even begin to process that information.]
He's been here for three years. That's a long time away from her. But that still doesn't make any sense.
May 16th
You can't even imagine it. Seeing them together. It's like a sappy poem. And he's NICE. Well mannered and cheerful and pleasant.
May 16th
Rather disturbing.
[This is Envy they're talking about. Greed's watched him happily slaughter entire families. He's watched him transform his arm into something sharp enough to impale a person before and then laugh when he's done it.]
May 16th
And he looks like an Elric.
May 16th
There's no way he'd date someone who looks like an Elric. There's no way. He mustn't have a clue.
May 16th
He does! Long blond hair, light toned, clear cut features.
May 16th
[No, seriously. What the hell.
Lust, do you have any idea what you're saying because Greed isn't sure he should explain that.]
May 16th
May 16th
Look, I
I'm not sure how much I should actually say.

I was aware of our master's obsession with the man. It fostered some strange fixation on his son.
You're alluding heavily to matters of jealousy.
May 16th
Hohenheim left the first time long before I was born, but I was also not the first one born. I was the third. The second being Gluttony.
May 16th
I see.
I always assumed.
Nevermind.
It doesn't matter.
May 16th
But he trusted me enough to show me what he really looks like. Just the once.
May 16th
He did?

I don't really want to guess, honestly. He's wanted to kill Hohenheim for a long time and to be honest I have too so I never saw reason to dissuade him.
Re: May 16th
It doesn't matter. He's long gone now, anyway. Envy must know that, it happened when I was still with them.
